Here are some of the frequently asked questions about the ITIL training course.

  • When and where are the classes held? Open or Close
    Our classes for ITIL Foundation and Intermediate are held once a month in the Klang Valley or in Kuala Lumpur.
  • How long is the ITIL Foundation course? Open or Close
    The duration of the ITIL Foundation training course is 2 days. Our classes are normally held on the weekends on Saturday and Sunday. In the first and second day of the course, we cover the main syllabus of ITIL Foundation and our experienced trainers will guide you in answering the exam questions. The examination will be held on the second day of the course after the training has been completed.
  • When will I obtain my examination results? Open or Close
    Your examination results will be released in less than 1 to 2 weeks from the date that you have taken the exam.
  • What is the exam structure for ITIL Foundation? Open or Close
    The examination consists of a one hour exam with 40 multiple choice questions. It will be a 'closed book' examination i.e. no notes or books will be allowed into the examination room. The questions are selected from the full ITIL Foundation in IT Service Management examination question bank. The passing mark for the exam is 65% (26 out of 40).
  • Why is ITIL suitable for me? Open or Close
    ITIL is suitable for individuals who require a basic understanding of the ITIL framework and how it may be used to enhance the quality of IT service management within an organization. The ITIL Foundation Certification also applies to IT professionals who work within an organization that has adopted ITIL and so need to be aware of and contribute to the overall service improvement programme.
  • What are the main syllabus in the ITIL Foundation course? Open or Close
    Upon successful completion of the education and examination components related to the ITIL Foundation certification, including the ITIL Foundation exam, candidates gain knowledge and understanding in the following areas:

    ITIL offers various certifications based on your experience. The certification for beginners, ITIL Foundation, tests basic concepts. After Foundation comes the ITIL Intermediate certifications, which are a set of 4-5 certifications, depending on the path you choose. Each intermediate certifications goes deeper into various parts of ITIL. Managing Across a Lifecycle (MALC) certification is the final hurdle before you can get your hands on ITIL Expert certification.
